Celebrate First Nations culture this NAIDOC Week these school holidays!

Hills Shire residents are invited to have a Yarn at The Farm as part of Council’s NAIDOC Week celebrations from 10am – 2pm on Thursday 10 July at Bella Vista Farm.

Council has partnered with local First Nations enterprise Muru Mittigar to celebrate Aboriginal culture with free arts and crafts workshops, musical performances, sporting activations and First Nations inspired food from the Wilka Thalta food truck.

Calling on potential performers and stallholders

Performers:

Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from First Nations artists or community groups to showcase their talent on our Community Stage.

EOIs close on Friday 30 May 2025 at 5pm.

Express your interest as performer here.

Stallholders:

Council is seeking expressions of interest from stallholders including First Nations arts and crafts, First Nations jewellery, and First Nations food products.
