National Tree Day 2026

Join fellow residents at this free tree-planting event to work together to restore the critically endangered Blue Gum High Forest. Open to all, come and plant a tree and enjoy a free sausage sizzle and take home a free native plant. No bookings required, no experience necessary. Supported by Planet Ark: National Tree Day. Bring gloves, a hat, sunscreen, gardening clothes, drinking water and comfortable shoes. All tools and plants provided. Urban forests improve biodiversity, store carbon, reduce air pollution and also help to cool buildings which reduces energy use in warmer months.
