About this event

Help plant native shrubs and groundcovers in July as part of National Tree Day events all across Australia!

This year Lane Cove’s tree day events will be spread across two weekends at smaller reserves, to support the ongoing work of our Bushcare volunteers.

Spend some time along the beautiful foreshore of Longueville planting seedlings, a great outdoor activity for families. Please wear enclosed shoes and BYO gloves. Council will supply tools and will also have some spare gloves available.

Note that Woodford Bay has steep slopes in part and may not be suitable for the very young or those with restricted mobility.

Please RSVP for a Tree Day planting activity, as spaces are limited.

Find more tree planting sites across Sydney and beyond this July at National Tree Day – Planetark.
