About this event

Come and learn about Australian native snails and how to help conserve them. Most of us are familiar with the few introduced snail species we see in our yards, but Dr Hyman will show us some of the amazing terrestrial gastropods we have in Australia and discuss their habitat needs and conservation threats.

Dr Hyman is a research scientist based at the Australian Museum. Her interests include evolution, systematics and conservation of Australian land snails.

The talk will run from 7-8pm, followed by the Annual General Meeting of Ku-ring-gai Bushcare Association. If you do not wish to stay for the AGM, you may leave after the talk.
