About this event

It’s our first Spring market for this season and we welcome Dave Gray and his Uncle Stan’s Blueberry jam.

After working with blueberry farmers in Coffs Harbour and witnessing the vast amounts of wasted berries – about 1 tonne of blueberries are thrown out per day in the main season, Dave, a former chef wanted to do something about this food waste. So, two years ago he started making jam using rescued Coffs blueberries.

It’s Father’s Day the following day after this market and there are of course lots of delicious edible and divine, drinkable gifts to get for Dad at the market. You may want to surprise Dad with your gift or bring him along to enjoy the market while shopping for his present and choosing the ingredients for that special breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner that you will prepare for him on the day.

Does Dad enjoy toast with a good spread on it? He may yet to have experienced Nude Foodz’s new Halva Butter. Fred has been dreaming about such a butter for some years and now had made it a reality in two flavours – Pistachio and Cacao, which both come in a Silky or Crumble variety. Move over Peanut Butter and Nutella!
