About this event
Join us in the award-winning permaculture garden each Friday morning and learn skills under expert guidance in a friendly setting.
Come garden with us on Friday mornings from 9am to 12:30pm and help us plant, weed, and compost. We break for morning tea together and socialise over lunch, you’ll also share in the bounty of any harvest!
There are two areas in the award-winning Randwick Sustainability Hub to work in depending on your interests.
Permaculture Garden and Food Forest
Joining the Permaculture Garden and Food Forest is perfect for those that are interested in growing fruit and vegetables. Over the course of a year, you will learn about regenerative agriculture concepts and there is also the opportunity to learn specialist skills like worm farming, composting, seed saving, propagation and pruning.
Native Habitat Garden
Joining the Native Habitat and Bush Tucker Garden is perfect for those that are interested in bush tucker and maintaining native habitat, especially to protect our smaller critters.
Workshop program
After lunch from 1:30-4:30pm you can join us for our workshop series.
