About this event

Spend a spring morning outdoors helping bring South Creek back to life. Join OzFish Unlimited and other local volunteers to plant native trees, strengthen creek banks and improve important habitat for native fish and wildlife.

You’ll get hands-on with planting, installing protective guards and helping stabilise areas affected by erosion. No experience is needed — the OzFish team will provide the tools, gloves and guidance you need.

It’s a practical way to make a visible difference to a local waterway, meet other people who care about nature and learn more about the ecosystems that depend on healthy creek banks. There’s also a free community BBQ lunch for volunteers after the work is done.
