Plastic Free July: Green Cleaning

Join this workshop run by Margaret Mossakowska to learn about the natural, biodegradable substances you can use as cleaning products to keep your home clean, rather than harmful store-bought chemicals. Most of these natural ingredients are already in your pantry, so you will also be reducing waste and saving money. Your home will not only be clean but also safe to be in!

During the workshop you will learn what common household ingredients and plants can be used as cleaning agents. Making washing powder will be demonstrated on the day, and as a bonus you will take home a sample. A summary of the talk and recipes for natural cleaners will be emailed to you later.

Bookings essential as spaces are limited. The City of Canada Bay regularly hosts sustainability-themed events and residents are given priority for bookings.
