The site is on the southern section of Long Bay. The endangered ecological community Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub (ESBS) occurs in the Northern part of Long Bay.
The site is exposed and had been planted with appropriate local indigenous plants that can handle the coastal onshore winds.
The group targets weeds such as Salpichroa and Acetosa as well as continuing to plant along the foreshore.
