About this event
This a relatively long walk goes through open forest, woodland, gully rainforest and mangrove communities.
We examine the species present, discuss the heritage values of Bobbin Head, the Sphinx and the several Aboriginal sites, as well as park management issues such as fire and pest management. We also have time to admire some great views of Cowan Creek and spend some time at Bobbin Head.
Grade: 4 (challenging). More information about walk grades
Suitability: Adults and teens with some bushwalking experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Not suitable for young children or toddlers.
Supervision: Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Nearest train station: Bus service available to and from Turramurra Railway Station.
