About this event

Residents of City of Canterbury Bankstown are welcome to come along to a guided tour of the Sylvan Grove native garden in Picnic Point.

A hidden gem, the garden holds over 1,500 species of native Australian plants which have been carefully gathered and cultivated.

The walk will take around an hour. Attendees must bring their own comfortable and enclosed walking shoes, drinking water, sun and insect protection, along with any food they may need.

This event is part of our annual We Love our Rivers campaign and will include discussion and insight about the nearby Georges River.

Registrations including proof of address is essential. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.
