About this event
Led by First Nations Educators, children and their elder will explore the Botanic Gardens to find plants used by the local Dharawal people.
On this tour, you will discover how Indigenous plants are used to make tea and other yummy drinks, all while learning about their nutritional and medicinal values AND you will make your very own tea and teacups to take home!
Bring your favourite Elder / Grandparent / Grand-friend for free!
Who: Children Ages 5 – 12 years and their Elder or Grand-friend
Where: Meet at the Bowden Centre, Australian Botanic Gardens Mount Annan
When: 15th & 22nd April 2025 | 10:30am-12pm
Cost: $18 per participating child | $16 for Foundation and Friends members
