Tree Cheers for National Tree Day!

The City of Canada Bay is celebrating National Tree Day and you too can be a part of something big!

Join us as we roll up our sleeves and plant for a greener and healthier future. You can get involved by planting not just trees, but also shrubs, grasses, and ground covers to create thriving habitats for local wildlife, enhance our community’s green spaces, and boost local biodiversity. It’s a hands-on way to connect with nature, meet like-minded people, and make a lasting impact on the environment.

Planting sessions are limited, so don’t miss your chance to get involved! Choose from one of the following times:

1. Session 1: 10:00am – 10:30am

2. Session 2: 10:45am – 11:15am

3. Session 3: 11:30am – 12:00pm

4. Session 4: 12:15pm – 12:45pm

But that’s not all…

There will be other fun environmental activities for all ages and tasty food. Whether you’re planting or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Registrations are essential for planting sessions, but everyone is welcome to join the fun! Whether you’re planting trees or just enjoying the festivities, there’s something for all to enjoy.

What to bring:

• Your drinking water
• A hat
• Please wear enclosed footwear

Please feel free to bring your own gloves, or gloves will be provided on the day.

This event is suitable for all ages. Bookings are essential as capacity is limited. If the event is fully booked, residents of City of Canada Bay are given priority. Proof of residency may be required.

Please note that due to limited capacity and high demand, any no-shows may lose priority for future Council events.

Parking is available at the Concord Club (accessible via Nullawarra Avenue). Additional street parking is also available nearby.
