Turramurra Lookout Community Garden Open Day

Turramurra Lookout Community garden is holding an OPEN DAY!

The Turramurra Lookout Community Garden (TLC Garden) is a welcoming and inclusive place where the community can grow organic fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers and enjoy socialising with others. Run by an enthusiastic group of volunteers with assistance from Ku-ring-gai Council and the Turramurra Community Bank branch of the Bendigo Bank, the garden is an inclusive place which regularly hosts workshops and demonstrations on organic food production and sustainable living.

There will be seedlings for sale as well as indoor plants, cakes and biscuits, marmalade and chutney made from produce grown at the garden. Also, a local beekeeper will have honey for sale and there will be gardening books for sale with proceeds to Lifeline.

The garden will be holding demonstrations of propagation, how our worm farms work and tours of the garden.

There will also be some native plants provided by the council to give away.
