About this event
In this hands-on workshop led by Ecologist Dr Amelie Vanderstock, and Lis Bastian, Senior Lead Blue Mountains Planetary Health Initiative, you’ll learn how water moderates climate and be introduced to the many ways you can cool your garden and provide water for wildlife ahead of the coming El Nino summer.
You’ll also experience the power of collaboration as you build a pond together for the Planetary Health Water Demonstration site.
This workshop has been made possible as part of a Bioregional Collaboration for Planetary Health and is supported by the Disaster Risk Reduction Fund (DRRF). The DRRF is jointly funded by the Australian and New South Wales governments.
