About this event

Bugs, bugs everywhere! Join us as we search high and low for land-dwelling invertebrates.

We’ll dip-net for water bugs in the Garden’s pond and make our own take-home bugs from clay and collected natural materials. This will be great day out amongst the beauty of the Botanic Gardens.

Who: Children Ages 5+ with an accompanying adult

Where: Meet at Rathborne Lodge, The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

When: Summer School Holidays 2025

Cost: $21 per participating child | $18.50 per participating child for Foundation and Friends members | Parents must accompany children on this program.
