About this event
Get ready to meet some of Australia’s amazing native animals! In this fun and interactive workshop led by the volunteers from Sydney Wildlife Rescue, kids will learn about our furry, feathered, and scaly friends.
Discover what to do if you find a sick, injured or orphaned animal and how you can help protect their habitats. With real rescue stories, hands-on learning and fun games, take a peek into the life of a volunteer wildlife carer, this session is perfect for curious young nature-lovers!
Join us at our beautiful Discovery Centre at Highforest by Mirvac. There is plenty of free parking available and the Cumberland State Forest is located right next door for a picnic or wander afterwards, so make a morning of it!
Pay it Forward
Our school holiday program is FREE to attend, but if you’re able, we welcome donations from the Kids with Cancer Foundation hospital-approved list. These items will be delivered to the Kids with Cancer Foundation and included in Care Packs 4 Kids, bringing moments of joy to children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital.
