About this event

Join Club BUSHY for an evening in conversation with Toby Boorne Davidson (@boornewild), a wildlife carer and advocate dedicated to protecting wombats.

As Sydney’s urban footprint grows, so to does the pressure we place on our remaining natural areas and the living things that call it home. This event is an invitation to pause and consider the broader ecological impact of our actions. We’ll focus on the decisions industry and all land managers should make to better accommodate for our natural environment, specifically how we can protect our lovely wombats!

Through his work in the field, Toby will share what it means to care for a species deeply embedded in place – both culturally and ecologically – and how design, construction and planning decisions can influence their survival.

We’ll gather for drinks, snacks, and discussion about how we can better support our local environment. Plus, guests will receive a small gift from our friends at @teatonic.
