About this event
This five-hour (9.3 km), challenging circuit bushwalk explores a large southern section of Muogamarra Nature Reserve.
We discuss local fire management practices, discover some interesting facts about the local plants and animals, inspect an Aboriginal engraving site, admire some great views and have a pleasant rest at the Djarra Creek crossing.
Grade: 4 (challenging) – sections of the trail are overgrown, steep and rough. More information about walk grades.
Suitability: Adults and teens with some bushwalking experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Not suitable for young children or toddlers.
Supervision: Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Nearest train station: Cowan Station is a 13-minute (1.1 km) walk from the meeting point.
