About this event

Join us for a walk around scenic Yeramba Lagoon, Picnic Point, to celebrate World Water Day on 22 March 2025.

We will be watching for native wildlife and wetland birds and chatting about why the lagoon is important for the health of the Georges River.

Please bring binoculars if you have them, at least 1L of drinking water per person, comfortable walking shoes, a broad-brimmed hat, sunscreen, and any snacks or food you may need.

This easy 3km walk will be jointly hosted by the Georges Riverkeeper and City of Canterbury Bankstown.

This free event is part of the annual We Love Our Rivers campaign. Bookings are essential and non-ticket holders will be turned away.
