About this event
Immerse yourself in the outdoors and discover the healing power of nature through a guided sensory wellness walk amongst the trees, fern gullies and surrounding landscape at Eric Mobbs reserve.
Learn about plant identification and bushland conservation through a guided Bushcare session with the local Eric Mobbs Reserve Bushcare group. Take time out of your busy lives to explore nature through the senses, learn of the benefits of nature connection and make a difference to this special patch of bushland through helping the local Bushcare group. Bookings are essential and a catered BBQ lunch will be provided.
Meeting Point: park at end of Excelsior Avenue Baulkham Hills, approx. 242 Excelsior Avenue, meet at the amenities at Eric Mobbs Reserve
What to Bring: Please bring a hat, sunscreen, drinking water and wear long pants and enclosed shoes.
Important Information: This guided walk is approximately 2km long and includes some steep slopes. We recommend people who take part in this event are of moderate fitness. This event is not suitable for children under 5 years. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements for the catered BBQ lunch. Please note this event is only available to residents of The Hills Shire.
