About this event
Sew smart. Waste less.
Leftover fabric can still have a purpose. In this creative (and social!) workshop, you will learn how to turn fabric scraps into functional and attractive items such as placemats or coasters.
This session focuses on practical sewing with a sustainability mindset. It is ideal for anyone over the age of 16 looking to reduce textile waste and add a personal handmade touch to their home.
You will need to bring your own fabric scraps to sew with. You will also need to complete our sewing machine induction prior to attending.
For more information, contact Wollongong Library.
This event is one of the many reasons to have a library card. Don’t have one? It’s free and easy to join online!
