Spring School Holidays – Wander and Wonder at The Gables

Join us on a relaxing, sensory-rich nature wander through the Gables – specially designed for children and families. As part of the nature art experience, you’ll slow down, awaken your curiosity, and explore the small details of our local bushland while gathering natural materials along the way.

After the walk, the group will split into two: one group will use the gathered materials to create nature art, while the other will make seed bombs to help encourage the growth of native tree species in the area. Partway through the workshop, the groups will swap over so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy both activities.

Important Information:

At this stage, there are no toilets available on site. The nearest public toilets are in Gables Town Centre.

The guided nature walk component of this event is approximately 1km long and on even paved paths that are pram-friendly and physically accessible to those with reduced mobility. We recommend that people who take part in this event are of reasonable fitness.

Event Attendance Policy:

If you can’t attend the event, please cancel your ticket at least 12 hours in advance. No-shows or late cancellations may result in loss of future booking privileges. Please note this event is only available to residents of The Hills Shire.
