The Lake Parramatta Kayaking Bushcare program offers a unique opportunity to paddle out and clean up hard-to-reach shoreline and aquatic habitats. Volunteers take to kayaks to clear floating debris, manage aquatic weeds, and protect native wetland species along the reservoir margins.
It’s an energising, fun, and highly rewarding way to experience the lake from a completely new perspective while making a direct impact.
Guided by experienced officers with safety equipment provided, it’s perfect for active individuals and groups wanting a novel environmental experience.Come jump in a kayak, enjoy an active morning on the water, and help keep our lake pristine!
