About this event
Join us this school holidays and learn about the unique native banksia species in the area and enjoy being out and about in nature!
Join us this school holidays and celebrate International Mother Earth Day by being out and about in nature! This walk will have a special focus on learning about the unique native banksia species in the area and discussing native Australian plants and how to recognise banksias in your environment.
We will also be learning about a local Bushcare group (Elizabeth Chaffey Bushcare) and the important work they do in looking after the bush, including our beautiful native banksia species!
What to Bring: Please bring a hat, sunscreen, drinking water and wear enclosed shoes.
Important Information: We recommend people who take part in this event are of reasonable to moderate fitness. We encourage children over the age of 5 years accompanied by their parent/guardian and families to attend. Please note this event is only available to residents of The Hills Shire.
Please be aware we have limited numbers for this event. If you book a spot and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking with as much notice as possible so you are not taking up a spot for someone else. We have an active waitlist.
