About this event
All guided bushwalks are for Hornsby Shire residents only.
This three-hour (5.3 km), moderately challenging to challenging bushwalk explores the upper reaches of the Lane Cove River and the beautiful Coups Creek gully.
A secluded area of bushland tucked away behind the Sydney Adventist Hospital, this precious natural corridor has somehow managed to survive urban development. We’ll then delve into the Lane Cove National Park through Conscript Pass, a track built during the harrowing days of the Great Depression.
Walk Grade: 3.5 (moderately challenging to challenging) – sections of trail are hilly, steep and rough.
Suitability: Recommended for adults and teens with an average to good level of fitness and bushwalking experience. Not suitable for children (<13 years), those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.
Supervision: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Please note: Mobile phone reception is unreliable on parts of this walk.
