About this event
Enjoy the beauty of Florence Cotton Reserve, a suburban bushland valley tucked close to the heart of Hornsby. This short, 1 hour 30 minute (1.8 km) walk explores both the dry sandstone ridgetop and the shady valley floor, so be prepared for a few steps along the way!
We will also have wander the paths of the magical Lisgar Gardens, one of the hidden gems of Hornsby Shire.
Grade: 2.5 (easy to moderately challenging). More information about walk grades
Suitability: Perfect for adults and teenagers with a basic level of fitness and bushwalking experience; older children (7+ years) unused to bushwalking might find it tough. Not recommended for younger children, those with impaired mobility, wheelchairs, walkers, or prams.
Supervision: Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
