About this event
Explore critically endangered Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest and Sandstone Gully Forest in this area and make a positive difference to this special patch of bushland!
Join us for this event which involves a guided walk along Toongabbie Creek pointing out native species, as well as a guided Bushcare session with the local Bushcare group (Crestwood Reserve Bushcare). Discover the local native and weed species and learn about the process of habitat conservation. Develop skills of bush regenerators and give back to the environment. A catered BBQ lunch will be provided at the end of the event.
Meeting Point: Meet at Warumbui Avenue at crn Merindah Rd (approx 139 Merindah Rd), next to Crestwood Reserve Baulkham Hills
What to Bring: Please bring a hat, sunscreen, drinking water and wear long pants and enclosed shoes.
Important Information: We recommend people who take part in this event are of moderate fitness. This event is not suitable for children under 5 years. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements for the catered BBQ lunch. Please note this event is only available to residents of The Hills Shire.
