INTRODUCTION TO HORTICULTURE & ECO LIVING

Blacktown City Council and TAFE NSW Career Pathways & Employability Skills brings you:

This course includes:

• how to grow plants from seeds and cuttings. Companion plants. Pest control. Compost/worm farms
• the Importance of fungi and bacteria
• organic health – how to grow your own food chemical free
• working with nature – living more sustainably and being self sufficient
• garden to plate – use what you produce and produce what you use
• a pathway to studies in Horticulture & other Learning
• your local environment and what is needed to establish and join a community garden.

There are two options available to participants:

Option 1 – Online Zoom – 8 weeks
Commences 13 September, 9.30 – 11.00am

Option 2 – Onsite
13 September – 29 November,11.30am – 1.30pm
