Strathfield Council National Tree Day 2026

Join us for National Tree Day at Hudson Park, Strathfield on Sunday 26 July, 2026!

This free hands-on community event celebrates our incredible native flora while helping to green our local environment.

Plant native seedlings alongside fellow community members and learn how local plants are supporting our wildlife, improve waterways, and strengthen our urban ecosystem. Every seedling planted contributes to restoration, conservation and beautification. All for a better tomorrow!

Participants must register their spot for this free event. Be quick – This event is likely to sell out.

Date: Sunday, 26 July 2026
Time: 9am – 12pm (Please check your registered timeslot)
Session 1: 9:00am – 9:50am
Session 2: 10:00am – 10:50am
Session 3: 11:00am – 11:50am

Where: Hudson Park (More details to come closer to the date)

What to bring:
– Hat, sunscreen, UV-protective clothing (slip, slop, slap, slide)
– Closed-toe shoes
– Water bottle (refill stations are on-site)
– Gloves (or borrow ours)

– Arrive 10 minutes before your selected timeslot to check in at our registration stall
– Please use public transport, carpool or walk/cycle to the event where possible
– Parking is available nearby
– Treat all staff and the community with respect and kindness
