About this event
All guided bushwalks are for Hornsby Shire residents only.
Set aside for conservation and scientific study, access to this area is restricted to the public through most of the year. The highlights of this walk are two beautiful lookouts, one overlooking the lower Hawkesbury River and the other overlooking a volcanic diatreme and historic grazing lease.
Walk grade: 3 (moderately challenging).
Suitability: Adults and teens with some bushwalking experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Not suitable for young children or toddlers.
Supervision: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: Mobile reception is unreliable on this event. As this is a one-way walk it requires car-pooling from the end of the walk to the starting point.
