About this event

An average Aussie buys 53 new items of clothing every year! Swapping clothes instead of shopping is a great way to save money and valuable resources, while reduce waste.

Bring up to 8 pieces of clothing or accessories to exchange at our swap, using tokens as currency. All types of adult clothing are accepted, of any style and size.

Swap items must be:

  • Clean and folded
  • Good quality with a long life ahead of it
  • Likely to be valued by others – ask yourself if you would be happy to give it to a friend
  • Free of faults or with minor faults easy to repair (e.g. missing a button).

Event Itinerary

Drop

  • Drop off your pieces to clothes swap staff and collect your tokens. Staff will sort and display all items during the drop off period.

Swap

  • Once the swap begins, browse preloved items and choose your pieces. ‘Buy’ your new items using your tokens.

Check in 9.30-10.30am & Swap 10.45-11.45
