About this event
Shinrin-yoku is the practice of walking slowly through the woods, in no hurry, for a morning, an afternoon or a day.
You bathe in the environment of the forest, using all your senses to experience nature upclose. It is a simple natural therapy that has been done for many years.
With Shinrin-Yoku, trees provides fresh oxygen so you can take a deeper breath and the green colours of the leaves sooth your eyes, sounds of birds and water from creek calm the noise in your head and you feel the breeze on your skin.
Enjoy a peaceful forest walk and explore your creativity by connecting with nature. This is a gentle way to release your stress/anxiety. After the walk, Mayu will provide tea & snacks.

What you need to bring
– Water
– Hat
– Good walking shoes (no sandal)
– Long sleeves/trousers are preferred

Shinrin-Yoku – Schedule
Introduction : 10-15 min
Slow forest walk including mindfulness activities…1.5hours
Japanese tea & snacks …30min
The most part of the walking course is flat including mild stairs.
A general fitness is required.
